PURYEAR FARMS RECEIVES NATIONAL AWARD
Gallatin, TN. 11/13/09 – Puryear Farms Nursery and Landscaping is proud to announce it has been awarded a Grand Award for its “
Chetola Estates” project in the 40
th Annual Environmental Improvement awards program sponsored by the Professional Landcare network ( PLANET).
Only twelve companies, nationwide, were selected as recipients of this award, in the residential landscaping category, and Puryear Farms was the only award recipient from the state of Tennessee.
The project was selected for its unique design which blends the formal elements the customer desired into the wooded surroundings. The elegant swimming pool, with an infinity edge wall, serves as the centerpiece for this outdoor living space including a covered kitchen, decorative arbor, firepit, dining areas, and an impressive outdoor fireplace. A man made stream with cascades and waterfalls weaves through the setting and provides a sense of peace and tranquility. The outdoor lighting creates another dimension to the landscape at night and connects the exterior to the interior of the home.

Puryear Farms Inc. is a locally owned design/build landscaping company located in Gallatin. They have a staff of over fifty employees and have been in business for seventeen years. They provide a wide variety of landscaping services, but they specialize in design and exterior landscape construction. Their base of operations is a one hundred acre nursery located on the Cumberland River South of Gallatin where they grow many of their own materials.
